These patterns are from James Buie's book entitled, "The Big Book Of Woodcarving Patterns." This book is privately published and is copyrighted. Mr. Buie has made it available in a three ring binder form...printed on one side of the pages....to make it usuable to woodcarvers. There are 240 pages of patterns. Most of the patterns were original ones he created specifically for the Pearl River Woodcarvers Guild. They appeared first in the monthly Newsletter. The organization and Newsletter were established in 1983. The book is also available in CD form.
