- Carvers
are allowed to submit their original work only - no kits or machine
duplicates
- Unlimited
number of entries per carver, but no piece may be entered in more
than one category
- Blue
ribbon carvers who may enter their work in the next highest class
or stay in their current class
- If
fewer than 3 pieces are entered in a category, the judges may
assign the piece(s) to another appropriate category
- Placards
and nameplates identifying the carver must be covered until after
the judging.
- By
entering, carvers agree to display pieces until 5pm Saturday,
at which time they'll be released to owner or representative.
- Show
setup Friday, 1-6pm and Saturday, 7-9am
- Awards
will be presented based on the decisions of the judges - judging
will start at 9:30am Saturday
- Winning
purchase award entries will become the property of the sponsor.
- Decisions
of the judges are final and judges reserve the right to disallow
carvings which don't meet judges standards.
- Only
pieces carved since the previous show may be entered. Name and
completion date must be permanently affixed with name covered
for judging.
- Entries created as a classroom project or with instructor assist will not be permitted. Originality continues to be strongly encouraged.
